Dear Brothers in Christ,

I am writing to inquire about your Bible Correspondence Courses.  I would like to be able to study the Scriptures with you and receive our feedback on my answers.  I received your ministry's name from a beloved brother who is an inmate here with me, and whom I fellowship with concerning the Word of God.  If you could find it in your heart to include me in your study courses I would be most appreciative and faithful in my work.  Thank you, and God bless you and the ministry no matter what the decision.  In Jesus' love and service, your brother in Christ, New York Prison

Dear Director,

Hi - I'm incarcerated here at Colorado Territorial Correctional facility here in Canon City, CO.  I received your address from one of my Christian brothers.  The reason why I'm writing you is to see about requesting the following material:  one wall calendar for 2003, one bookmarker, and I would like to be enrolled in your free Bible Correspondence Course.  If you can respond to this request, I'd gladly appreciate it.  I've been with the Lord for two years now since I've been in prison.  God bless you, and have a good day!  Sincerely, Colorado Prison

To Whom it May Concern,

I received the book "The Great Controversy" and I want to thank you very much for it.  I am studying "The Reformation", and it has been very helpful.  I also would like to request the book "The Desire of Ages" by E.G. White.  Thank you so much for your time and assistance.  In Christ's name, Indiana Prison

Dear His Marvelous Light Ministries,

First of all, let me say THANK YOU!  I hope this letter has reached you finding all of you there at HMLM in the very best of health and surrounded by our heavenly Father's love and protection.  As for me, I am doing alright.  Praise the Lord!  Thank you so very much for responding to my request for the book "World Crisis", the four little booklets, and the newsletter "The Present Truth" that I requested from your ministry.  Your response time was simply phenomenal!  Thank you very much!  Thank you also for the 2003 calendar you sent me.  Hallelujah!  It is so exciting to receive "spiritual" food that is both revealing and speaking truth!  I don't know if I've ever had a ministry respond so fast to any request!  Well, I don't mean to be a burden, but I simply have a real hunger for the Scriptures and spiritual books and literature that expounds upon or explains truth.  So with that said, can you please send me the following book and booklets?  I'd like "The Great Controversy", along with "Where To... From Here?", "Ye Shall Keep Holy...Sunday", "Our Liberties Threatened", and "Promise Keepers, Modern Revivals, All in the Name of God?".  Thank you!  Your brother, California Prison

Dear HMLM,

To whomsoever this request may concern, please be advised at this present time that I'm submitting this request for your monthly newsletter, "The Present Truth".  Would you please start me off by forwarding copies of the November and December, 2002 issues?  I look forward to hearing from you guy's soon.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.  Illinois Prison

Dear Bible Instructor,

This lesson was just as wonderful as the first.  Thank you for my Bible!  I love it!  There's one other thing I want to ask for.  If possible, please send me "The Great Controversy".  I'd love to read it!  I've been told it is a very good book.  If you have a spare copy, would you send me one please?  Thanks! Louisiana Prison

Dear His Marvelous Light Ministries,

This letter is a reply from an order sheet that a subscriber to your newsletter gave to me.  I was so grateful to have received the order sheet, because I'm hoping that you can help me come closer to Jesus through being able to receive some of your free literature that it offers.  I pray and hope that I can help your ministry despite being incarcerated.  We, too, in prison need Jesus in order to turn away from the life that got us here.  Jesus has made a difference already in my life that my family members can see when they visit me.  Praise God for any and all assistance in helping me to help others.  Sincerely yours, Virginia Prison

To My Brothers and Sisters of His Marvelous Light Ministries,

I praise the Lord God for the marvelous ministry that He has put in your hands!  God bless you all!  I pray for you, and please pray for me.  I have a sentence of nine years, three of which I have done already.  The Lord has blessed me through His Word since I met Him.  Last week I preached to a congregation of around thirty people, so it was a blessing.  I am hungry for learning more of God's word.  Please send me some materials to study and use.  Thank you, I appreciate it!  God bless you - Nevada Prison

Dear Sir,

I was given your address by a fellow inmate in this correctional institution.  Please send me your Free Bible Correspondence Course, along with all available evangelizing materials to support my fledgling ministry here.  I am indigent, but will try to pay whatever is required with stamps if you so desire. Thank you very much!  Yours sincerely, Arizona Prison
